  1. Preheat a 6-quart air fryer to 350˚ F. Mix the chicken wings with the vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon each of salt and pepper in a spacious bowl. Put them into the air fryer basket evenly and cook until they turn golden and are fully cooked, which takes about 10 minutes per side.
  2. Raise the fryer temperature to 400˚ F and continue cooking until the wings become crispy, which takes 5 to 7 more minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the unsalted butter with the hot sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat. Pour it into a large bowl and add the wings; toss them to cover them in the sauce. Serve them with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
